Activator™ is a key element of the Virtual Access Zero Touch network device management solution, which introduces deployment ease to the network and allows network scaling up to approximately 250,000 nodes.

With Activator, you can easily achieve the following:

• Remotely deploy configurations and firmware upgrades, even over a large-scale network.
• Use service profiles to create configuration templates that allow multiple devices to be built from the same base configuration with a number of configurable options per device.
• Control user access with service groups.
• Use service groups to partition devices so that the administrator can grant a user access to view only devices in the user’s group.
• Add optional extensions to achieve the following:
  • Configure VPN networks
  • Integrate with the Operational Support Systems (OSS) that your customers use
  • Manage a variety of third-party devices
