Monitor

Monitor is a hosted system that allows support teams to actively monitor Virtual Access Service Managed Gateways and teleworker devices. Each Virtual Access device that is deployed in a managed service environment sends heartbeats to a centrally hosted Monitor system. These heartbeats allow the monitoring system to proactively display the status of each device. The main features of Monitor are:

  • Device heartbeats
  • Real-time statistics
  • Historical statistics
  • Link to remote diagnostic tools
  • Intrusion reporting
  • Centralised monitoring system

Three tiered management layout:

  1. Device heartbeat up/down response
  2. Central access to remote site diagnostic features
  3. Central access to historical reporting
