Broadband Internet access provides the opportunity to deliver all data and voice services over a common telecommunications infrastructure.   • PCs and phones must share the ADSL bandwidth
  • Phone traffic must be delivered with minimum delay
  • When no voice calls are in progress, all bandwidth should be made available to the PCs
