GW7000 Dual ADSL
Many dual ADSL routers need external modems to operate successfully. The new Virtual Access GW7000 Series does everything in one router. You just plug it in and play.
The GW7000 is a versatile cost-effective platform for secure service delivery of VoIP, data and converged services over a selection of WAN interfaces.
The GW7000 Series delivers a fully integrated backup solution that gives end-users confidence that their corporate applications will remain online. This is particularly important to service providers in facilitating the adoption of DSL for business-critical services. The Virtual Access GW7000 includes two integrated ADSL2+ modems, supporting two ADSL links without any external equipment.
Bonded ADSL using the GW7000
Bonded ADSL is a simpler and more effective way of providing redundancy than using two separate ADSL links. The two links are bonded together such that the IP network layer sees these two links as one and so there is no need for re-routing at the IP level in the event of link failure. Typically a bonded service recovers from a failed link in a few seconds and without any IP routing or NAT complications. VoIP calls will continue without being dropped, and data applications will continue to operate. This demand for both high availability and increased bandwidth can be met with bonded ADSL services.
