We offer innovative technology solutions to your managed services issues. But innovation is meaningless if it doesn't help you achieve your corporate goals. The flexibility of our system components means that we can design a solution for your enterprise that suits your needs, from design through to support. SMG FamilyThe Virtual Access Service Managed Gateway (SMG) family is the CPE that provides the security and service that your customers expect. The SMG CPE all feature a unique blend of:
The GW7000 SeriesThe new Virtual Access GW7000 Service Managed Gateway (SMG) is a versatile cost-effective platform for secure service delivery of VoIP, data and converged services over a selection of WAN interfaces. The GW7000 series delivers a fully integrated back up solution that gives end-users confidence that their corporate applications will remain on line. This is particularly important to service providers in facilitating the adoption of DSL for mission critical services. GW7000
The GW7000 offers:
The GW4000 and GW5000 Series GW4000 and GW5000
The Virtual Access GW4000 and GW5000 series SMG uniquely empowers service providers to deliver end-to-end business class services at the lowest life-cycle cost. The GW4000 and GW5000 SMGs support value-added applications such as:
The rack-mountable GW5000 series enables service providers to build value-added cost-effective infrastructures rapidly. Based on our outstanding GW4000 SMG, the GL4000 series SMG provides a wealth of services tailored for the small office. The GL4000 series SMG is a powerful, cost-effective access device that features firewall, VPN, and VoIP. TW4000 Series Service Managed GatewayTW4000
Based on our outstanding GW4000 SMG, the TW4000 series addresses the concerns of any business needing to extend access to corporate networks and applications from employees' home locations whilst maintaining data privacy and strong user authentication attributes. Additionally, the appliance provides the option of separate concurrent family access to the Internet over corporate broadband connections. Process IntegrationProcess integration ensures that your managed services solution is easy to manage. Process integration helps you minimise complexity and easily fulfill your SLAs. Activator™ is a key element of the Virtual Access Zero Touch network device management solution, which introduces deployment ease to the network and allows network scaling up to approximately 250,000 nodes. Monitor is a hosted system that allows support teams to actively monitor Virtual Access Service Managed Gateways and teleworker devices. Process Director automates the ordering process of customer premises equipment (CPE) and services, and it integrates the various systems involved in the service management process. On receipt of an XML order from the customer system, Process Director populates the required information in Activator and Monitor systems and requests shipment of devices from logistics. Process Director supports data transfer through HTTP, HTTPS and SMTP in XML and CSV formats, with the option to extend to other protocols if it is required by other third party systems. Activator for SMG
Activator™ is a key element of the Virtual Access Zero Touch network device management solution, which introduces deployment ease to the network and allows network scaling up to approximately 250,000 nodes. With Activator, you can easily achieve the following:
TR069 Automatic Configuration ServerTR069 stands for DSL Forum Technical Report 069 and defines an application layer protocol that enables automatic configuration of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). TR069 is the current standard for activation of terminals in the range of DSL broadband markets. Virtual Access was instrumental in developing the TR069 to standardize the Wide Area Network (WAN) management of CPE. Activator acts as an Automatic Configuration Server (ACS), it creates and manages device configurations automatically. Service Providers can use the TR069 to provision multi-vendor CPE such as VoIP Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA), DSL modems, and Service Managed Gateways. Activator’s automated provisioning of CPE is very cost-effective in terms of logistics, services and support. As more services are offered through broadband access, CPE is becoming more complex and consequently support and technical staff are under more pressure to deal with customer calls. Activator with TR069 provisioning takes away the burden of CPE configuration of all devices from service providers as configuration is fully automated through Zero Touch, the network device management solution.
Monitor
Monitor is a hosted system that allows support teams to actively monitor Virtual Access Service Managed Gateways and teleworker devices. Each Virtual Access device that is deployed in a managed service environment sends heartbeats to a centrally hosted Monitor system. These heartbeats allow the monitoring system to proactively display the status of each device. The main features of Monitor are:
1.Device heartbeat up/down response 2.Central access to remote site diagnostic features 3.Central access to historical reporting Work-flow Management SystemThe Virtual Access work-flow management system: Process Director, automates the ordering process of customer premises equipment (CPE) and services, and it integrates the various systems involved in the service management process. On receipt of an XML order from the customer system, Process Director populates the required information in Activator and Monitor systems and requests shipment of devices from logistics. Process Director supports data transfer through HTTP, HTTPS and SMTP in XML and CSV formats, with the option to extend to other protocols if it is required by other third-party systems.
